Thomas Khun was born on July 16th 1922 to a jewish family in Cincinnati, Ohio. His father was an industrial engineer and looked into Thomas getting a proper education.

Thomas Khun’s family often moved around in the upper north east. Ohio, New York then graduated highschool from Taft hills in Watertown, New York in 1940.

Thomas Khun studied physics at Harvard starting in 1940 and completed his bachelors MSC and PHD in physics in 1949.

During the writing of The Structure of Scientific revolutions Thomas made massive contributions to “paradigm shifts” or periodic revolutions. He didn't make the phrase but heavily affected its popularity.

Thomas taught a history of science class at Harvard from 1948-1956. He switched schools to teach at university of California Berkeley

Thomas published his first book “The Copernican Revolution.” Discussed the shift in the field of astronomy from a geocentric understanding of the universe.

Although Thomas didnt have a vast amount of personnel works published. He provided mass support to many articles and help expand thoughts of other published writings in his field.

Thomas lived a long life but was sadly diagnosed with lung cancer in 1994 and passed away in 1996, at age 73.
