Thomas Kuhn was born into a wealthy family on July 18'th 1922. His parents were Samuel Kuhn and Minette Kuhn. His father was an industrial engineer and investment consultant, and his mother wrote unpaid articles for progressive organizations while freelance writing.

Thomas Kuhn started working on his bachelor’s degree at Harvord in the fall of 1940. As he was entering his sophomore year in 1943 with the US entering WW2 he sped up his degree by taking summer classes graduation summa cum laude in 1943

After graduating with his BS in physics Thomas Kuhn worked with the Radio research laboratory's theoretical group with the task of avoiding detection by German RADAR (radio detection and ranging.)

After the war, he returned to Harvard to get his Masters degree.

In 1949 he graduated from Harvard again with his Doctorate degree.

On June 17'th 1996 Thomas Kuhn died at the age of 73 of throat cancer that he had been battling for two years. He was married twice and had 3 children with his first wife. Truly Thomas Kuhn was an important figure in the world of science and left his mark that will surely impact many generations of scientists.
