Born in Albermarle County, Virginia. Thomas we born to Jane Randolph Jefferson and Peter Jefferson, he had five siblings: two older sisters, two younger sisters and a younger brother.

Peter Jefferson dies, leaving his fourteen-year-old son Thomas his slaves and lands. Thomas has to step up and be the head of the Jefferson household, and take care of the family.

Thomas Jefferson begins studying at the College of William & Mary. He becomes close with the Lieutenant Governor, Francis Fauquier, and George Wythe, a famous and well-educated lawyer, who helped him with his studies.

Jefferson graduates from William & Mary and begins reading law with George Wythe.

Jefferson concludes his studies with George Wythe, is admitted to the Virginia Bar, and moves back to Shadwell.

Jefferson, who is now 25 is elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses. He decides to alliie himself with George Washington and Patrick Henry. At the same time he starts contructing a new home in Monticello.

Married Martha who had a weathly father and lots of land for the family. Martha was 5 years younger than Thomas and was very pretty and very cultured.

Thomas died in Charlottesville after a long life of 86 years. He accomplished many things i his life including being one of the greatest leaders in his lifetime.
