October 27, 1858. He was the second of the four Roosevelt children. -

In May of 1869, Theodore's parents announced that they would be traveling all over Europe seeing historic sites, visiting museums, and just traveling about.

After a year of traveling all over Europe, the Roosevelt family finally returns home.

In July of 1875, Theodore Roosevelt took his college entrance examinations on eight different subjects and passed them all. In Harvard, he falls in love with a girl named Alice Lee, who he later marries.

Theodore's mother was laying in bed on one floor dying of typhoid fever. Alice Lee was dying of kidney disease. Baby Alice was alright though.
