Although they had flown for a short time people didn't believe them. They had to convince the press and governments that they were not liars, bluffers. Wright Model A was the first one that took a passenger and both passenger and pilot sat upright. -
The Wright Company
They created a company that would make airplanes using their patents. -
Wilbur dies
He became ill after a short trip. He died at 45. -
Last flight
Orvil made his last flight that year. He had sold the Wright Company earlier on because he was more an inventor than a business man. -
Orvil dies
Orvil continued working in aviation and consulting various boards and institutions. He received many awards and distinctions. He lived to see planes become war machines. He died after World War II
