The Ku Klux Klan was, basically, a group of southern whites that wanted to kill any joy that the freed men could ever have. The Ku Klux Klan also went after any person that could have assisted the freed men in anyway.

The Fifteenth Amendment was ratified on Feb/3/1870. The Fifteenth Amendment, basically, gave all men the freedom to vote.
