Engels and Marx co-publish their first book; The Holy Family
Over a brief period of when Engels and Marx met in Paris (one of their first few encounters) in 1844, the two of them decided to begin writing a book that would critique the trending topic of academia in their time; the Young Hegelians. They entitled their novel "The Holy Family" as a sarcastic reference to the Bauer Brothers. Being the first joint piece that the two worked on, it established a relationship that would be the foundation of a movement to influence the world. -

In summary, The Condition of the Working Class in England is an analysis that Engels made while observing the working class in industrial cities in England. In conclusion, Engels found that due to a reduction in quality of life, industrialization was generally worse for the working class. This book being the climax in his career, it quickly gained political notoriety and eventually changed the world. -
Engels publishes founding work of Marxism; Principles of Communism
The Principles of Communism was ultimately Engels' cumulation of major points shown in The Conditions of the Working Class and was the outline for his next book, The Manifesto of the Communist Party. In summary, it was a brief (but potent) essay structured in 25 questions and answers regarding communism.
