Dave's teachers and other staff memebers at Thomas Edison Elementary School intervened and notified the police. -

Dave goes to trial and the judge rules that he will be a ward of the court until his 18th birthday. He is removed from his Mother's custody. -

Dave is placed into his first foster home. The head of the home is Aunt Mary. -
First Bicycle
Dave recieves his first bicycle from Mrs. Cantanze. He rides it everyday for as long as he can. -
