    The three boys, (Cale Vague Henri and Kleist) discovers a door beneath some bushes behind the hanged redeemer. (a door is very rare inside the sanctuary because it is seen as an object used to conceal sins with and therefore forbidden for the acolytes)

    The three boys stumbles into the kitchen and sees the redeemers eat, drink and glare at naked women. In short, enjoying several sins they had forbidden the acolytes

    The Lord of discipline dissects a woman and is about to kill Riba, another woman, when Cale intervenes and kills the Lord of Discipline. An acolyte has never before harmed a redeemer, not to mention a lord of Discipline.

    The three boys accompanied by Riba makes their difficult escape from the santuary after Cale have killed the lord of discipline. Cale uses a plan he has worked on for a long time to escape with the others.

    The four companions come across a slaughtered group of men in the wastelands. While arguing whether or not to save a man buried up to his neck, they get captured by men from the same group as the dead men and accused of scavenging.

    Chancellor Vipond persevered and although the boys were not being treated good, they were kept alive and sent to a military training squad nearby.

    A high ranking redeemer looking for the boys enters the city of Memphis and learns that they are in fact there, but also that his kind is not welcome in the city.

    Cale is roaming the city and stealing anything he can use for his further travels and his escape from the city when he randomly encounters "Arabelle Swan neck" and saves her from falling to a certain death.

    No longer able to withstand Conn Matterazzi's constant taunts and mockery, Cale finally strikes back, and after dealing with his 4 henchmen beats Conn, the best Matterazzi fighter in 20 years in fair combat. After beating Conn, he destroyes the city's sacred cerimonial sword in front of the whole city just to be provocative.

    Due to Cale's public humiliation of the Matterazzi, chancellor Vipond sends him away with his brother Idrispukke to keep him safe. Cale lives with Idrispukke for several week where he gets a completely different view on life than what he did with the redeemers from and gains a special bond with Idrispukke

    Cale risks his life to save Arbelle "swan neck" who had been kidnapped by the redeemers, and in turn reedeming himself in the eyes of the Materazzi king. Arabelle being the daughter of the king.

    Lord Bosco shows his true colours when arranging another attack towards the king's daughter, fully aware that it is a suicidal attempt. Showing his disregard for life and made a point to the Matterazzi.

    Cale takes care of the king's half-wit son Simon, and gaining Arabelle's love. Cale shows that there is more to him than fighting, and teaches Simon, the Marshals only son and heir to communicate through sign language.

    Cale and his former "instructor" in the military training squad, Solomon Solomon, duel infront of the whole city. Cale ends up killing him, the Mattrazzi's most important general and advisor.

    50 redeemers attack Memphis and tries to kill Arabelle, which both secured Cale's position in the city guard, but also gave them an insight to the redeemers plans

    Seemingly random attacks on Matterazzi villages and one city done by the redeemers. Excecuted an entire village containing 1400 people one by one. Throwing the children of a tower

    A very chaotic battle where the Matterazzi had a huge advantage, but lost to weakened and tired redeemers due to many factors. The heavy armours and eagerness to battle were the downfall of the Matterazzi, because they pushed from the back resulting in suffocating the middle forces and killing the front rows.

    Lord Bosco finally gets his hands on Cale again and reveals his visions for the future and his reason for his "obsession" with Cale. Bosco believes that Cale is God's anger made flesh and that he is an incarnation of God of some sorts. He is "the left hand of God".

    Cale is lead back to the sanctuary by Bosco and the redeemers, but this time treated as royalty. His friends Vague Henri, Kleist and Idrispukke follows him.
