    Issac Murphy is well-known for being the only person to vote against secession.

    Arkansas was made a state when the Louisiana purchase happened. Arkansas was included in the purchase.

  • Arkansas demanded seperation

    Arkansas wanted seperation between the north and south. Slavery is what Arkansas wanted.

  • Arkansas is no longer part of the Union

    Arkansas leaves the Union and joins the Confederate states.

  • Arkansas rejoins the Union

    Only 7 days after Arkansas left the Union to go to the Confederate states they rejoined!

    Daisey Bates was very helpful to Little Rock NIne while the Desegregation disaster.

    El Dorado is known for it's oil blow. The oil company that owned the tower is called Arkansas oil and Gas Comission.

    Before Bill Clinton was the President of the United States he was Arkansas's Governor. He was born Augst 19th, 1946.
