    The Liberator was a weekly newspaper published by William Lloyd Garrison in Boston, Massachusetts. William Lloyd Garrison was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts in December, 1805. When he was therteen he began his newspaper career with the Newburyport Herald, where he developed great skill in the art of setting type.     Herriet Beecher stowe was an newspaper writer. She watched every day across the river slaves being mistreated, and every day she graved slavery even more. She sent a paper to the north to show what they are treated like and to show the people of the north that its wrong and we should help stop the south from mistreating African Americans.
