p.1-p.97. Today i started the catcher in the rye. This book starts off describing a young man who is being exspelled from school. He is saying goodbye to his history teacher. The flunking student is known as Holden Caulfield. Holden is simply relaxing in his dorm like room. He talks to his neighbor Ackley and his roomate Stradlater. There is a big school football game occuring, but holden is not attending it. Holden decides to leave for New York for a couple days before leaving for his parent's.
