  • Dalton: Solid Sphere Model

    John Dalton experimented to show that matter had lumpy particles (atoms)

  • Thompson: The Plum Pudding Model

    J.J. Thompson is the one who discovered the electron and made a model for the atom out of pudding and raisins

  • Rutherford: The Nuclear Model

    Ernest Rutherford conducted an investigation to see what the inside of an atom looked like

  • Bohr: The Bohr (Planetary) Model

    Niels Bohr made a theory stating electrons do not spiral into the nucleus and came up with some rules for what does happen

  • Schrodinger: Quantum Mechanics Model

    Erwin Schrodinger has an idea to go all the way with particle waves and try to form a model of the atom on that basis
