    In 1763 the war between the French and and England ends. This war was known as the Seven Years' War or the French and Indian War. The war ended with a treaty. Along with the treaty, France lost all its claims for Canada. This war caused great debt to Britain

    The Boston Tea Party was basically a stand against taxation. This protest was led by Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty. The Sons of Liberty were a group of American colonists that seeked to protect the rights of colonists and to stop taxation from the British. The group of rebels threw 342 chests of tea over board. This action brought both sides(British and Colonists) closer to war.

    A diary, written by a British officer in Boston in 1774-1775 describes the pain and cruelty. British General, General Gage is extremly critical with the soldiers and takes no threats. The people are treated like cage animals and are given close to no rights. Riots are occuring every other day while the soldiers are drinking and have fun.

Another act at the time was the "Quartering Act" also known as the Mutiny Act. The Mutiny Act was an act that required American colonies to shelter and feed British troops.

This was mainly caused because Americans were being taxed unlawfully on sugar, and enforced trade laws by British Governments. The war started in Lexington and Concord and lasted for eights years. With the significant help from France, Americans finally won the Revolutionary War.

    The war began and took place at Lexington and Concord where the first battle was fought. Nobody knows who fired the first bullet, named "The shot heard round the world". However, soon after that, dozens of minutmen died and were wounded as British forces destroyed what was left of the guns and powder. However minutmen attacked as British went back to Boston. British suffered three times more than the colonists.

Some powers that achieved through the victory was the ability to put bounties on people and change the system of promotion in his army.

However the Patriots battled with the British shortley after they went South from New York and ended up making Burgoyne surrender giving the Patriots one of the most crucial victories in the American Revolution.

    British were frustrated and hopeless. The loss at Saratoga was crucialand capturing Philadelphia didnt give them much advantage. As long as the American Continental Army stayed in the field, the British had to keep on fighting. And no matter how much damage the British did to Americans, the Americans refused to surrender.

    In October 1781, the war came to an end when General Cornwallis was surrounded and forced to surrender the British position at Yorktown, Virginia.
