Second event from novel
Dates of when the story takes place is not given. After having a conference with his teacher, Junior descides to move to Reardan to pursue his dream to get out of the reservation.This causes frustration,hate, and anger between him and his fellow tribal. -
Third event from novel
Junior is unable to fit in with his students and teachers at Reardan. Junior gets into a fight with one of the students and gains a sense of confidence and realtiy of the people around him. He also creates a love interest with one of his peers named Penelope, and befriends a kid named Gordy -

Junior begins to realize his transportation problems to get to school. He dreams about fantasies with Penelope and learns new things from his friend Gordy. -
Fifth event from novel
Junior returns home one day to find out that his sister moved away to Montana to live with her husband. Junior decides to join the basketball team and earns the respect from one of his fellow teammates Roger. Junior is encouraged by his coach to become great and notices his skills in the game. -

Junior becomes closer to Penelope creating a relationship. Junior encounters Penelope's racist father and is obtains his approval to date his daugther. Junior later gets an email from his sister talking about how she's doing in Montana. -
Eighth event from novel
Junior's grandmother was killed by an alcoholic spokane. Many Indians came to his grandmother's funeral and because of his grandmother's death people stopped picking on him expect Rowdy. It turns out Junior's grandmother knew Bilonaire Ted. Soon enough, Eugene, Junior's dad's bestfriend, was killed at a 7-eleven parking lot over who would drink the last of the bottle of wine. -

Seventh event from novel
Junior, now on varsity, played his first game against Wellpinit High School. Junior was sent in halfway throught the first quarter, but then was hit by a quarter which made his head bleed and was unable to play. Later on in the hosptial, Junior and his coach shared a moment. -
Ninth event from novel
Junior began to think about his life for a short period of time. A rematch between Reardan and Wellpinit happened again. The game was hyped up and tension grew. Junior was told to gaurd Rowdy, who was the best person on the Wellpinit team. Junior was able to stop Rowdy by blocking him his first shot which determined the rest of the game. Reardan swept Wellpinit. Junior questioned his fate after his mother and sister's death. Junior realized how alcohol was the true killer in the reservation. -
Tenth event from novel
Junior begins to explain his life in the reservation just being death camps for Indians to kill themselves. He thinks that he maybe the only Indian that would be somebody. Rowdy comes back and plays basketball with Junior -
