2 years old and teaching
HIs father tells poeple that when Tereance was only 2 years old he could understand how to count and talk. He used his skills to teach a 5 year who did not know how to do either. Terenace said he learned from Seaseme Street. -
Terry scored a 760 on the Math SATs at 8 years old.
Only one other child in the history of time has ever scored as high as 700 on the Math SATs. 800 is the max score you can get on the math portions of the SATs. to get an idea of how good 760 is consider the fact that the average SAT math score is about 500. -
Tereance publishes his first math paper, at 15 years old.
Some professors spend their entire life trying to publish a paper, but Terry got one done at the mere age of 15. The paper was called "Three regularity results in harmonic analysis." Definitaley worth a look! -
Tao gets his Ph.D
Tao graduates from Princeton Academy at the age of 20 with a Ph.D.
