In the fall of 1974, Bundy moves from Washington to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend law school.

Bundy abducts and kills three young women during the month of October by claiming to be a police officer.

Bundy tries to lure a young woman into his car, but she escapes. Then, later that day, he tries to convince a teacher and student from a high school to come to his "police car," but they refuse. After failing in his attempts twice, he abducts and kills a 17-year old girl on her way home from school.

After moving from Utah, Bundy abducts and kills four women from January to May of 1975. He abducts one of his victims from a hotel, two others in a parking lot, and a fourth near her junior high school. He lures them by pretending to have a leg injury and asking for help.

Bundy is arrested for failing to stop for a police officer and is quickly linked to the previous kidnapping and Utah murders.

After a week-long trial, Bundy is convicted of kidnapping and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

While awaiting trial for the murder of one of his Utah victims, Bundy escapes from the law library of the court building. He is caught six days later.

Bundy once again escapes from the jail he is being held in.

After escaping for a second time, Bundy travels to Forida. In January, he attacks four female sorority students at Florida State University, two of which die. Then he attacks another female student a few blocks away. In February, he kills a 12-year old in South Florida before being caught a week later.

After confessing to the murders of 35 young women, Bundy is finally executed a decade later.
