Move from Texas to Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas. Before he left, his imagination of a zombie following him representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. -
The muck fire
Paul and his mother were woken to the smell of fire and called the fire fighters right away.It took the firefighters to get there 20 minutes! Turns out it was just a volunteer. They tolled him about the fire but he informed them it was just a muck fire and how it always gets struck by lightning. -
Legally blind
Paul and his mom went to see the school. While there Paul's mom was using Paul's blindness as an excuse to look around. Although they did not really like the portable classes, Paul was fine with it because they had a soccer team. -
Dad really likes football
For part of the day Paul's father was just bragging about how good Erik was at playing football to his coach. Later while going home with his mom he saw a group of kids playing soccer he joined in and they did not make a single shot at him. -
Paul's first day of school was
While he was going to the bus he remembered how Eric's friends would call him eclihpse boy and how his brother would tell all his friends he lost his eyesight because he stared at an eclipse. he never remembered staring at the eclipse but he started believing Eric. Once he got there he after going to two classes he was sent to the principal's office where he was told someone would be his eyes he told the person they did not have too. -
More of Erik's football dream
Paul thinks that Erik's future girlfriend will be Paige the cheerleader. Arthur is currently doing anything to be in Eric's football dream and might overpass Mike. Arthur will do anything that Mike asks of him like driving him somewhere. Now Paul is afraid of both of them and not just Erik. -
Run around the lake
Paul and Joey went on a run around a lake to get ready for soccer tryouts. While running they started talking about how the house on top of a hill had been struck by lightning three times and was now for sell. Paul told Joey he thought it was because the workers cut down the tangerine trees but Joey did not believe him. -
Soccer tryouts
After a long day at school Paul was ready to go to soccer tryouts. While over there he noticed a person who kept on making penalty shots, Joey said he was going to be the captain. After that Paul went to stand in front of the goal, Gino kicked the ball but Paul was able to block it. After that paul was positive he would be on the team. -
Mike is dead
Paul and his mom where unpacking groceries when Erik and Arthur came and told his mom Mike had died they were both in a state of shock trying to understand what happened. Later Paul heard laughter from the backyard when he went to check he heard Erik and Arthur making fun of Mikes death. Paul could not believe it he was confused and sick he looked at his mom who had not heard a thing. -
Everything is normal
The following day was as if nothing had happened school went on and even football practice. The only difference was that Mike and Joey were not there. Paul's mom wanted to leave saying that the lightning was horrible and that she did not want Erik or anyone to go to football but Paul's dad wanted to stay really badly. -
Football practice rescheduled
Paul's mom decided to call everyone telling them that football practice was dangerous and that it should be rescheduled. Later that day the principal called her and they scheduled a meeting later that day. Paul's mom told all the parents who were interested to come to her house. They had an argument with the football coach which they ended up winning. This means the football practice will probably be rescheduled to the morning. -
Kicked off the soccer team
Paul was practicing when gino cane and told him coach Walski wanted ti see him. Once paul got there he was told he could not be in the soccer team because he could not see well and their insurance would not accept him on the team. Later that day they went to Mike's public showing, there he saw joey and told him he had been kicked off the team. Joey saud he could get his dad to file a lawsuit so he can play. After that joey asked Paul if he wanted to go to the carnival, Paul saud yes. -
Carnival day
Joey came to Paul's house and they went to the carnival. Once they got there Paul noticed three kids playing soccer and he watched them for a while until one of them called out to give him a ticket. Joey grabbed his armed and pulled him away telling him that thise kids were in gangs and not to mess with them.at the carnival paul saw other kids drom class. They went to this exhibit that paul realy liked and he stayed behind to see it. Later he caught up with them but nobody knew he was gone. -
Sink hole
In the morning Paul, Joey, and his friends were sent to the office to see if they knew who vandalized an exhibit. Paul told him who it was and it went fine. After that Paul and Joey were talking when they heard a rumbling sound. It was a sink hole and it was taking classes with it. Paul and joey went straight to one of the classes that had fallen to help take out students. After helping around 20 people Paul every one was safe and they went home. Later that day the school was already on CNN. -
Relocation being planned
Theere was already pictures of the school in Tangerine Times and on the newspaper it said that on friday all the students had to come to talk about the relocation.Paul was surprised that the sixth graders were going back on Thursday. Paul was looking at the sinkhole and saw that a corner of the soccer field was gone and half of the bleachers for football. Paul said Erik lost half of his audience afterbseeing the bleachers. -
Old Charley Burns
Pauls dad is the new Director of Civil Engineering For Tangerine after a news report about Old Charley Burns. Charley had not checked a single building that people wanted to build, the news reporters said it was because he was living the high life and traveling a lot. Turns out that in the time was gone they built the middle school. Paul said it was the end of the Old Charley Burns era and now it was the dad era. -
The relocation plan
They were all going back to school on monday, Paul was surprised by this he thought it would take months. Then they announced that some kids could go to Tangerine Middle. Paul really wanted to go and his mom and dad said yes. -
First day at Tangerine Middle
On the first day at Tangerine Middle Paul's mom is annoyed that two boys are fighting unsupervised and in the front of the school. Paul told her that it was fine and that boys always do that. The principal was very welcoming and had Theresa show him around the school. Theresa would not talk to gin until he asked about soccer. She started talking about the team. The next day the three suspended people came back and they talked to paul. They played soccer and paul went home. -
Victor, Tino, Hernando
The three kids who Paul had gotten in trouble came back. Their names were Victor, Tino and, Hernando. At fist they were just insulting Lake Windsor Middle but in the end they got fairly along. They all went to socce pracrice after that, Paul blocked one shot from Victor. Victor kicked it out of his hands which was against the rules but Paul was fine. -
Erik and Arthur are jerks
Paul and Joey were showing each other their jerseys when Erik and Arthur came in they started to make fun of Joey for trying to take Mike's shoes when he died. Joey was stunned at how mean they were and he explained to Paul how he wanted to take mikes shoes off because it was something Mike always did when he came home. -
First soccer game
They were playing an away game against the palmetto's. The palmetto's kept on insulting them but they had no teamwork but the war eagles did. The palmetto's got the first goal because of a penalty kick. The war eagles got two goals after that and one the game. Latrr Victor told Paul that he was a War Eagle and that no one woul mess with him because he had them. Later that day Joey saud he would be joining Paul on monday and that they did anything for his dad. -
Erik's first football game of the season
Paul and his family had gotten to the football stadium one hour before the game started. Paul was glad they did there was few places to sit. The game was really slow with not much action until the third quarter the Cypress Bay Cardinals got seven points. On the final quarter the Lake Windsor seagulls were able to get six points. Then with two minutes remaining, Erik was ready to kick it. Right when Erik was going to kick the ball Antoine ran with the ball and won. Erik had landed on the mud. -
The second soccer game
They were all calm for the beginning of this game, Victor was already insulting the other team. For the first half it was a tie three to three but Victors head was bleeding so he had to go get stitches. For the scond half they scored four more goals, one by Paul. Victor came back and was relieved to know they had won. Later that day Cara called Paul asking if he liked Kerri Gardner. Joey told paul Kerri was on the other line and that it was a scam. -
Joey following Paul
After practice Joey was walking with Paul when Victor came and started asking Joey why he followed Paul so much. Joey got mad and did not answer Paul said it waa onlu for the first day but Joey still did not talk much until they got to his house where he said they all had gotten bugs. Paul's mom said he could stay at their house but Joey did not want to. -
Tangerine Times Truck
During practice a truck was coming through the field, when Paul looked closer he noticed that it was the tangerine times truck. the people inside of it said they wanted Maya and Shandra. They told Shandra to come but she just ran away. The coach ended up just giving Maya's last name. Later that day Paul noticed they put Maya Pandhi lead all the scorers but they put the wrong photo in the front. -
Joey quit the soccer team
During science class Joey told Paul that he had quit the soccer team and was now going to play football. Paul understood but Joey kept on going. He said it was crazy how he convinced him to come and how he did not like the school. Paul then realized how different him and Joey were and he said sorry. Joey did not say anything back and just left -
Joey and Tino are not friends
They were talking about how Tino's brother had invented a new tangerine. Then Joey and Tino got in an argument and Joey was going to leave the group. Befire Joey left he rold Tino that it was not because of his brother's bananas. Tino got mad and lunged at Joey but he missed and ended up getting suspended. Nothing ever happened to jiey and he switched groups. -
Just homework and meeting
Paul was doing homework when his parents came and told him they were having a homeowners association meeting he listened to the meeting where they just talked about all of the problems of the city and how to fix them. when it was almost over he saw a file he had never seen before it said Erik's scholarships after looking at it he heard his parents coming so he took it off knowing he would come back to it. -
Meeting Luis
Joey had not shown up to school but Paul already knew why, Joey was going back to Lake Windsor Middle School. Paul went to ask Theresa how Tino was.Theresa told Paul his suspension would only be one day because he did not hurt anyone. Theresa offered Paul to come and meet Luis. Paul accepted and went to ask Henry D. if he could take him To where Luis lives, Henry said yes. Once he got there Luis started showing them all the tangerine trees and the baby trees and a new one called the Golden Dawn. -
Buisness
Paul talks about how his family is so busy they do not even have meals together anymore. He also states that Erik has gone from a joke to a hero in four weeks making many field goals for the team. Paul is happy because his team has won every game in soccer. He also says he liked the feeling when the other team fears his. -
Back with Luis
Paul wanted to go see Luis again so he did. Once he got there Tino was slightly annoyed he did not tell them in advanced he was coming but Luis said it was fine. They were put straight to work they had to take out several hoses and cut them so that they sprayed every tangerine tree. Later that day Paul was unable to take it and Tino took him inside and sprayed something that would help on him. Paul finally told Tino he ratted them, and he ended with a kick in the back. -
Meeting with Mr. Donnelly
Mr. Donnelly invited the fisher family to his house because he was surprised by Erik. He ended up being really nice and talked to Paul about soccer and how his coach Betty Bright used to be a hurdler. Every one was surprised Mr. Donnelly liked meeting paul. -
A forgotten soccer game
Paul's team was beating another siccer team when it started to rain they all had to leave. Betty said it would be as if this game never happened. They talked about last years game against Lake Windsor and hiw they had lost. -
Tangerine Times
Paul was on the sports section of Tangerine Times showing his team and how they broke the previous record. The article also shiwed Betty Bright when she was on the Olympics team. -
Game against Lake Windsor Middle
The fame started off slow but Tangerine Middle got the first goal. Lake Windsor was next to get a goal and then another. Then Cesar got a goal which made it two to two. Then there was a penalty shot but Gino missed and the game was a tie. War eagles still got a better score in all. -
Tino punched in the face
Paul's science group came to visit so that Paul could show them the different fonts and sizes they could use for the report. When they finished they went outside to play soccer when until Erik and Arthur came. Tino and Erik started arguing until Erik punched him in the face. For the rest of the time at Paul's house they were silent until they left. -
Luis's revenge
Paul and his mom went to Erik's practice so they could get a key that he had. At the practice Paul hid so that Erik would not see him. Then Paul saw Luis walk up to Erik, Luis challenged Erik to punch him but Arthur snuck up on him and hit him with a blackjack. Luis fell to the ground but Erik and his group just left. -
Helping Luis and Tino fight the freeze
Paul was at school when he realized almost no one was at school. Henry D. told him that they were fighting the freeze. Paul wanted to join in. He went with Henry to help Tino and Luis. Luis had doubts but he let Paul help. Victor and his group also came to help. after half the night of keeping the tangerine trees warm Paul got tired and had to go to sleep. he was awoken the next morning where they all got breakfast and watched television. Pauls mom picked him up a while later. -
Paul´s Sick Day
Paul woke up at 4:30, he went downstairs to get a sandwich when his dad came out wearing pajamas. At first he got mad because Paul was not coughing or anything but, Paul said he had gotten better. Paul's dad was talking about how Eriks last game was not that good and how it seemed as if Brian Baylor was trying to make Erik and Arthur look bad. A while later Paul's mom got a call saying they all got vandalized Paul went outside to see and it said seagulls suck. -
Erik is fine
Paul was thinking about what Erik would do when he came back. He thought of this because Luis had said he was going to confront him today. Erik did come home but he was fine nothing had happened to him he was fine.Latter Kerri called asking Paul if he wanted to come with her to Joey's house. Paul said yes without hesitation. After that there was another homeowners meeting were they discussed some robberies and talked about the koi.Paul finally told them it was the ospreys and they believed him. -
Luis is dead
When Paul was coming to school Henry D. told him that Luis had died. He said wayne thinks that it was an aneurysm from being hit in the head. After hearing that paul felt sick and asked to go home. At home Paul went on the computer and found a website called 'Ask-a-Nurse" Paul asked if someone could die from an aneurysm the nurse said yes and that a hit from the head could cause it to burst. Paul realized that the hit in the head from Arthur was enough to kill Luis. -
Five Year old boy
Theresa called Paul to tell him he should not go to Luis's funeral because Tino And Victor were saying bad things. A while later Paul went to a pond and sat down for a while. A five-year-old later came and told Paul about stories his parents had told him. Paul said that his parents were lying to him. The boy got scared and told Paul his parents do not lie to him and he left. -
Crying for Luis
When Paul woke up he put on the shirt that he had worn to Mike's funeral, went outside, dug a hole, and started to cry in it. He was thinking of Luis Cruz and how he had died. After that he put the dirt back in the hole and threw the shirt away. -
Erik gets wrecked
Paul was at the ceremony when he saw Tino and Victor come in. He was terrified because he did not know why they had come to the ceremony. All of a sudden Tino walked up to Erik and punched and kneed him in the face. Victor went and attacked Arthur before he could get to Erik. The football players went to get them off but Victor escaped and while Tino also ran back outside. A while later Paul remembered about how Erik had held him to a wall and castar sprayed paint in his eyes. -
Shandra and Antoine
Joey called Paul to tell him that Betty Bright was in front of Mr. Donnelly and that she might be telling him who Victor and Tino were, but Paul told him it was improbable. When he went to go see he noticed Shandra was in the car. she told him that Antoine and coach Bright were talking to Mr. Donnelly about something. She also told him that since Antoine was lying every day about where he lived so he could go to Lake Windsor High and that was why she never let her face be shown on the newspaper. -
Antoine Tells the truth and The Meeting
In the morning as soon as the Tangerine Times had been dropped off. It said how Antoine was not legally in Lake Windsor High and that all his records would be forgotten. Later that day they had a meeting about how Erik and Arthur had Robbed the houses but they would be returning the things. After the meeting, Two police came and got Arthur for relating to the murder of Luis. Paul told them about how that had happened and Erik would not be aloud to leave the house. -
Paul expelled
Paul and his mom had to go to the school to see the principle for something. Paul ended up getting expelled for jumping on a school board employee. After that Pauls mom finally took him to get clothes that he fits in. -
Statements
Erik's dad took Erik to the police station where Arthur says that Erik had made him do it. Antoine and Brian stated that it was Arthur who had actually hit Luis and not Erik. Tino called Paul and they talked about the Golden Dawns and the soccer teams. Later that day Paul decided to make his statement wich held the whole truth. -
Car Ride With The Golden Dawn
Paul's mom told Paul that they had talked and that his dad was going to take him to school that day. As they were going they passed Mikes tree and Paul thought about how Luis also had his tree. Paul rolled down the window and smelled the Golden Dawn.
