John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed, was an American pioneer nurseryman who introduced apple trees to large parts of Pennsylvania, Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as the northern counties of present-day West Virginia.

Johnny at 23 years old and nothing to lose started moving west toward Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania help many opportunity like money and Apple seeds!

Johnny had a big break and got the land he wanted. The day he got it he went and planted the apple trees!

Sadly Johnny died before his father at the age of 70 Leaving all his things and family behind. He died at fort Fort Wayne of Pneumonia.
