As wells as the right for guardians to participate in in decisions regarding the students education. Lastly, preschool eduction will be provided to children who have intellectual disabilities if the district provides for children who don't have an intellectual disability.

The litigation of the case additionally led to the legislation of the IDEA.

The congress enacted law of EHA supports the rights of meeting needs and improvement of infants-youth with disabilities and their families. The law insures, all children with disabilities have FAPE, protected rights, assistance to states and localities, and effectiveness.

This act is a revision of the EHA that renamed it to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or IDEA. Its purpose is to broaden the definition of disabled to incapsulate more individuals. As well as mandated the new revision to be a part of IEP and ITP.
