After the war, Lenin gave a speech outlining that people cannot disagree with the leader and the dictator has complete control. Lenin was assassinated by a White group member, and Joseph Stalin took over. -
The Soviet Union was neutral in the war until Germany asked for their help. After Germany and Russia pinserd attacked central poland the Soviet Union stayed out of it. Then they invaded a bunch of Germany which then created the Iron Curtain. -

In the vietnam war it was split into different countries south Vietnam (capitalist) and north Vietnam (communism/Soviet Union) which were fighting. In this fight the U.S. was helpming south vietnam and they sent soldiers to help. South vietnam thought they had the advantage until they got into the forest where North Vietnam dominated them. -
The Space Race started whe the Soviet Union sent Sputnik (satilite) into space which put the people of the U.S. in a state of fear. America responded by also putting a satellite into space this led to many other satilites and space crafts going into space from both sides. In the end though teh Soviet Union ended up winning with many more important acomplishments than the U.S. -
The cuban missle crises delt with a lot of stress for everybody involved I say this because of how the couyntries reacted and responded. In this Cuba (who just became communist) was getting nuclear missiles from the Soviet Union. Since the U.S. was getting scared they made a blockade but that made cuban point the missiles at the U.S because the blockade was an act of war. So after that both leaders agreed to stop this and agreed on terms so Cuba wouldn't attack the U.S -
The soviet union fell after many things went wrong when they got a new leader. The two main reasonos the Soviet Union fell was because they spent too much money on the military and not on the people. The second biggest reason the Soviet Union fell was because they just couldn't stay modern like other countries.
