The fear of Communism spreading was taking place during this time. The U.S feared that COmmunism was spreading to fast and would take over. The U.S went to help fight to stop the spread. -
The Soviet Union went into Cuba and pointed Missiles at the US. The US pointed Missiles at Cuba first from Turkey. To stop this they had agreed and put a "Quaritine". They surrounded Cuba with boats and tried to make them not like there leader. They had agreed on both sides to end this. This is the most intense moment in US history. -
This war is fought between the US and Vietnam. The US was not prepared for this fight in the jungle. France took over Vietnam and wanted to make a domino effect of making a bunch of communist countries around there. -
The Fall of the Soviet Union was because of the miltary spending to much and the people wanting freedom.
