John Dalton
John Dalton was born on September 6, 1766 in a Quaker family Eaglesfield population in Cumberland, England. The son of a weaver, had five brothers know that , of which two survived : Jonathan greater than Dalton, and Mary , whose birth date is unknown. Dalton was sent to a Quaker school where he learned mathematics and stressed enough that , at the age of 12 years, could contribute to the family income by teaching other children , first at home and then the Quaker church.
