Nick's freshman year high school started during the month of September in the year 2009 and he immediately knew he wanted to join Belen Jesuit Prepatory's Crew.

Still a freshman, Nick has another regatta in his hometown of Miami. It was held in Key Biscayne and Nick's entire family came out to support him.

Nick and his teammates had fun during their first regatta of sophomore year. They all wore matching socks.
