The Boston Massacre was where British soldiers shot and killed several people while they were being harassed by a mob in Boston. This began when a patriot mob attacked a British loyalist, who fired a gun at them. This continued to get wore when finally between the colonists and the British soldiers which eventually resulted in the Boston Massacre.

The Tea Act granted the British East India Company Tea a monopoly on tea sales in the American colonies. The passing of the Tea Act made no new taxes on the American colonies. The tax on tea had existed since the passing of the 1767 Townshend Revenue Act.
