The Battle of Britain was when Germany attacked the naval forces of Britain. This was the first war fought entirely in the air. Germany did not succeed in their attempts to take out Britain's naval force Resulting in Britain's success. -

The Battle of Stalingrad stopped the German advance into the Soviet Union and marked the turning of the war in favour of the Allies. -

This was a meeting of the Allied powers leaders Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill. Where they discussed their military strategies against the Axis Powers. -
D-Day
D-day was when the Allied forces invaded the beaches of Normandy to push back the German troops and regain territory in France. This was considered to be the largest invasion by water ever. -
The Battle of Kursk
The Battle of Kursk was an eastern front battle between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. It was a huge bloody battle resulting in Soviet victory. This was very important because it marked the end of Germany's offensive capability. -
Battle of the Bulge
The Battle of the Bulge was considered to be Germany's last major offensive effort on the Western Front. This ended up not resulting in favor of Germany and is ruled an Allie Win. -
Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
The U.S. dropped atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Resulting in the deaths of thousands of civilians instantly and many more later from injuries. Japan surrendered soon after, ending World War II.
