    A bomb pierced the forward deck of Arizona. This bomb set off 1 million+ pounds of gunpowder which created a huge fireball, and it killed 1,177 men. A sailor on the U.S.S Nevada saw the Arizona go at least 15-20 feet in the air.

    Many wounded go to hospitals, others are too hurt to make it. For meny of these wounded soldiers, all nurses can give to them is morphine. If they give their patient morphine, they put an "M" on the patient's forehead to let the other nurses know they have morphine in their system. 2,390 people died in the hospital.

    On this second wave, there were 78 dive-bombers, 35 fighters, and 54 high-altitude bombers. The Japanese attack, and the hit the ship Pennsylvania. Another bomb came and hit Cassin and Downes which destroys their oil.
