Still fuming about Cassio getting the job he wanted, Iago starts forming vague plans of revenge that revolve around Othello and Desdemona.

Othello and Desdemona secretly marry without Desdemona's father's permission.

Othello and the other characters go to Cyprus and Othello's ship is caught ina storm. The ship makes it safely to shore. This is also about the time that Othello gained a victory over the Turks.

Iago tricks Cassio into drinking while on watch. Othello finds out and fires Cassio. This is when Iago really gets his "evil plans" rolling.

Othello kills Desdemona because he is convinced by Iago that she is having an affair with Cassio. After he kills her, he finds out that she was innocent all along. He feels so guilty that he kills himself. This is also the day that Iago kills Emilia, his wife, and Roderigo, his "side kick."

Iago leaves Cyprus because people are extremely angry and start trying to hunt him down for what he has done. He flees to Turkey, the closest country.

After about two years, Iago is hunted down and killed for revenge by the friends and family of Othello and Desdemona.
