This was the assumed time, early 1942, where sabotage against the Germans was a widespread thing. I couldn't find a picture of this. The picture above is of the Danes sinking their navy so the Germans couldn't use it. This happened at the beginning of the war.

Hitler had decided that he wanted to deport the Danish Jews to concentration camps, as he had millions of other Jews in Europe. But when they initially raided, they found less than 300 of the thousands of Jews.

On this day, Danish workers left work early, and a general strike began in denmark.

On this day, the British bombed the Gestapo Headquarters. There were innocent prisoners on the top floor, and hospitals on both sides. Somehow the British managed to only bomb the bottom floors and do no damage to the other buildings. In the picture, you can see the top floor braced between the hospitals. This was a really cool thing.
