    The new deal was: laws made from congress and presidential orders to help the country during the Great Depression. This went on during Franklin D. Roosevelt's term.
  • Emergency Banking relief act

    Emergency Banking relief act
    Established regulations for the order of liquidation of banks in the banks that could not be saved during the reorganization. Gave president the power to declare banking emergency giving the all control to the president.
  • Civilian conservation corps

    Civilian conservation corps
    Public work relief for the unemployed, unmarried man from relief families as part of the new deal.

    The federal deposit insurance corporation
    Authority to provide deposit insurance to banks. Extended federal oversight to all to all commercial banks for the first time. Prohibited banks from paying interest on checking accounts.

    Rapidly creat manual labor jobs during the Great Depression. Job were merely temporary for the millions of people with out jobs. It spent $200 million a month and giving jobs to 4 million people.

    Securities & exchange act
    A law place to govern the secondary trading of securities like stocks, bonds, and debentures. The act also estblished the securities and exchange commission that primarly for enforcaing the U.S. federal securities law.

    (New deal 2) Rural electrification authority
    Franklin D. Roosevelt gives an executive order 7037. The order is to have the creation of the Rural Electrification Administration. Funding from electrical power companies to provide Utilities to rural area that did not have any.

    Social security act
    The act gave security to people that can have hard time supporting them self. The retirees and unemployed, widows, and farthless children. The state also gets money to help the aged individuals.
  • Soil conservation & domestic allotment act

    Soil conservation & domestic allotment act
    The government would be able to pay farmers to produces less to help conserve the soil. They hoped to cut surplus of crops as well with the act. It was a response to the a Agricultural Adjustment Act.
  • United States Housing Authority

    United States Housing Authority
    Gave money to the states to start low-cost construction. Most people were home less and giving them a home would give them a higher chanse to be succesful and improve social activities. Razed 10,000 slu units and 22,000 new unites. This would also provide jobs for people.

    Second Agricultural Adjustment Act Fair Labor Standards Act
    Started the national minimum wage, and fourty hour work week alnog with time and a half for overtime. Prohibited the use of children and minors in labor for most jobs.
