just as crabbe puts the canoe on the car the garage door opens and his parents drive in he ducks behind the car hoping they would not see him and his parents went inside. now he has to wait till they go to sleep

he loaded up his bags in the canoe and canoed 2 miles down and across the river far enough away from the car just in case someone where to find the car. -
he has to get out of the canoe and walk the bags and the canoe over o anothe part of river

when he was sleeping his food and novles got wet because he never water proofed gis belongings

he left peanuts he had scatterd for the squirls and dumped fish oil on himself and the tent and it attracted the bear and the bear went through all his belongings and the bear only attacked him cus he probably smelled like fish oil
