Move to Texas to Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas. Before he left, his imagination of a zombie following him representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. -
Muck Fire
Paul woke up at seven and he walked down stairs, unbolted the front door. He stepped into the morning air and unexpectedly he saw the air was grey and there was a foul smell like an ashtray. Then he thought that something around here is on fire. -
School Orientation
Paul goes to Lake Windsor for the school orientation with his mom and Paul gets embarrassed of his mom for asking so many questions. He also got a school tour. -
Meeting Coach Warner and meeting new friends
Erik goes to meet Cochg Warner and shoes the Coach his 50 yard kick and he is fascinated. Paul then sees some kids passing a ball back and forth and joins them and plays goalie with them they are now good friends -
The flashback on the first day of school
Paul was walking to the bus stop and immediately got a flashback. Paul remembered seeing another bus stop where he saw the solar eclipse and got legally blind. -
Erik's friends
In Erik's backyard Erik and his friends practice some football and Erik also practices his 50 yard kick. Paul is also afraid of Erik and Arthur. -
Lightning Struck
Paul gets back from school and his mom had told paul how the tudor house has been struck by lightning many times they found dead trees around the house as well they also saw a sign for sale -
Soccer Tryouts
When Paul got out of Mrs. Bridges Language Arts class he headed for soccer tryouts. He meets Gino while he goes to practice goalie and when Paul blocks Gino's kick. -
Mike's DEATH
When Erik and Arthur pull up and he had told his mom, "Mike Costello is dead. He had gotten killed during practice." His whole left side of his head was burned off, it was singed right off. They did CPR and Mr. Fisher called 911 and everyone was going nuts. -
Sad death
When mike died it was very different Joey didn't go to practice or to school. football was not cancelled but Mrs. Bridges told us to at least send Joey a card. -
Football Meeting
In the morning Mrs. Fisher starts calling parents of the football players and then she gets interrupted by a call by Mr. Fisher and tells her how the principal of lake windsor high school wants to talk to her in person and talk about parents arguments to the school -
Not Eligible to Play
When Gino had told Paul that Couch Walaski had summoned him he had thought it was to congratulate him on his amazing work but the he had heard a different saying. He was not eligible to play because of his IEP and that the insurance can not cover a handicapped player or they could lose the insurance which can cancel the soccer team. -
Carnival
When Joey and I got to the carnival some kids from tangerine middle had demanded that we give them our tickets so we did what they told and we went in to enjoy some carnival rides. I got really blinded from being in the dark so long that when I went in the sunlight I could see nothing for a little time but I got to see well in like a minute or two so I went into the parking lot and mom was already there but Joey kept me waiting for 10 minutes then we left. -
Issues
When a kid arrived at my class holding a wooden office pass Mr.Ward told me that i was wanted at the office right away. Mr. Murrow was furious and asked us what had happened at the carnival on saturday and Joey has said that we were there but then Mr. Murrow had told us why we were in the office. We were ther because some boys from a soccer team vandilized " The Wonders of the World" exibit so thats when i told them how i saw some tangerine middle students were there i saw them walk out. -
Sinkhole Meeting
On the newspaper had a print of a letter Mrs. Gates was going to send to all parents of seventh and eighth graders of a meeting in the high school gymnasium at 7:30 today and we were tols that sixth graders were to start school thurday. Now Eric the soon to be famous place kicker has now lost half of his fans . -
New School
We had ton choose what school we woiuld go to for a few months but we had a few choices like a local catholic school called st. anthony's and also tangerine middle but we would have to provide our own transportation which is okay so i decide to go to tangerine middle. -
A Chance on the Soccer Team
Paul was getting an escort for the first day and the second day if he wanted then he would be on his own. Theresa Cruz his escort took him to all his classes and introduced him to all the teachers then he asked her about the soccer team. She had said that her twin brother Tino played on the team. Paul wanted to go check out their practice so Theresa had joined him. The team was for boys and girls. Paul was surprised. And he got a chance to play and join the soccer team. -
Soccer Practice with Victor
Paul went to soccer practice and he was a goalie. When Victor tried to score Paul caught the ball in time but Victor got the ball and threw it in the goal then Tino started to argue with Victor and the started a physical fight. -
Eric and Arthur the idiots
Joey and Paul were at Pauls house going to show each other their uniforms. They laid their uniforms on the picnic table to compare them but, while doing that they heard Arthurs car accelerating and braking and sliding through the mud and when they got out back Eric and Arthur started to make fun of Mike since Joey was there but he didn't get it until Erick mentioned when joey started to take his shoes off how joey was a coward. -
First Away Game
There was an away game against Palmetto middle. Coach Bright told Victor to count as all up and when he finished he yelled out 16. We were on our way and when we got the there coach told us to warm up running around the field and meet her half court. In through the game, one of the Palmetto fullbacks knocked me down and when I tried to get up someone pulled my goggles away and put mud in my eyes and I went berserk and before he could get away I got on his back and beat him up like I saw. -
Eric the Loser
Lake Windsor had a home game against Cypress Bay. When it started to rain Mr. Briges started yelling at all of us to get inside but the game kept going. The score was 7-6 Eric's big moment had arrived. When it was time for the football kick Eric had thought that Arthur would be holding the ball but Antonie was holding the ball so when he tried to kick Antonie made him fall on the ground and Antonie mad a touchdown and made Eric look like a fool. -
Bloody game
When in the middle of the game Victor and we asked him what to do next we finally found out why he was not talking. He had his hand on his forehead trying to stop a trickle of blood from going on his face. same spot where he bumped heads with the Palmetto goalie. It must have reopened when he did a head ball into the net but it was sure bleeding now. Tino's dad then had to take him to the Emergency Room. Paul had to play for victor but he did not know what to do but he tried his best. -
Publicity
When a photographer came by Victor had said they wanted o take a pic of him since he is the captain but the photographer had no interest what they had interest in were the girls since they were first place soccer team in the county and the Mrs. Bright had the top scorer which is a girl which is why they have interestin they girls -
Different Joey
In science class, there was a new curricular project. there needed to be groups of 4 to 6. Paul wanted to join with Tino's group and Joey wanted to be in a different group with other students and Paul said something like getting to know the others more and Joey then said yes but then he changed his mind and when Joey mentioned soccer Paul said it was not the same but Joey said he was not going to play soccer anymore that he was going to play football just like MIke.
