At 18 mary took a job as a governess on her uncle's farm.

Free Catholic School in Penola. -
Mary formed a new order of nuns - The Sisters Of Saint Joseph when she 25.

Mary was excommunicated from the church.

Mary travelled to Rome for a personal
Audience with the Pope Pius lX and obtained papal approval for the sisterhood. -
Mary had a stroke and 7 years later she died at the age of 60.

Mary was Canonised and became a saint on the 17 of October.
