After her husband died, Louise Helen Norton Little had a series of breakdown which resulted in her being put in a mental hospital at Kalamazoo. She remained there until 1959 -
Went to live with Sister
After their mother's breakdown, most of the siblings were separated from each other and Malcolm sent to many foster homes. The last known home recorded was with his Older half sister Ella Little Collins. -
Dropped out of school.
After the eighth grade and an encounter with a nasty teacher state a horrid lie, Malcolm had dropped out of school right after finishing Junior High. -
Jail time
Malcolm had previously looted a house for valued goods, and was arrested in a repair store for watches in Boston.The store had caught on to the situation, and the guns that Malcolm had on him. He was later arrested at said Repair store. He was sentenced to ten years in Prison. -
Reformed Malcolm
During his time in prison, he would be reading books found at the institution trying to educate himself. After leaving said prison he purchased a pair of glass, wristwatch, and briefcase to show that he was a changed man ready to face coming challenges. -
Death
In Manhattan's Audubon Ballroom, he was shot over 15 times by three members of the Nation of Islam
