Malcolm X is born as Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska.

Sadly, his father is murdered possibly by a white supremacist. Malcolm was only six at the time and this was the seed of everything that Malcolm has done.

Sometime in this time period, Malcolm's mom was sent to an asylum and he is placed in foster care.

Malcolm drops out of his school in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 15. He probably dropped out because he did not have a stable family and he was in the foster system.

Malcolm gets sentenced to 10 years in prison for robbery. He needed money so he formed a group of cousins and friends but eventually got caught.

Malcolm joins the group "The Nation of Islam" throughout the year of 1948 while in prison.

After serving only 6.5 years in prison instead of 10, Malcolm is released.

Soon after leaving prison, Malcolm goes to study with "The Nation of Islam" leader, Elijah Muhammad.

After studying under Muhammad, Malcolm starts to lead a mosque in Harlem, New York.

Throughout the entire month of March, Malcolm leaves "The Nation of Islam" and becomes a Muslim.

Malcolm's house in New York is firebombed while him and his family were inside. Luckily, no one got hurt.

While giving a speech in a hotel, Malcolm was shot in the chest and killed. Three men were arrested for his murder.
