Lin-Manuel Miranda was born January 16, 1980, New York, New York, U.S. He is the son of Luis A. Miranda, Jr. and Luz Towns-Miranda. -
At the age of 7 Lin saw his first ever musical "Les Misérables". -

The first ever in the heights performance to an audience besides Wesleyan University students was in Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Waterford, Connecticut. -
