His first ever musical was written during his sophomore year, a musical that is now well known "In the heights". Although this was just the beginning development stages of the musical, it was well loved by the students at his school. -
Graduation
When Miranda graduated from Wesleyan Back House Productions and Miranda started working on In the Heights together. -
In The heights
The first ever in the heights performance to an audience besides Wesleyan University students was in Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Waterford, Connecticut. -
Drama Desk Award
Lin won an award called Outstanding Ensemble performance for In the Heights in 2007. -
