On Hitler's birthday, many books that are harmful to Germany are compiled and burned, and through all of them, Liesel finds "The Shoulder Shrug", a book about Jews, and when Papa tells Liesel that HItler is the reason that she cannot see her mother, she hates Hitler, adn starts to toy with his establishments.
