Jesus travels from Bethany to Jerusalem

Jesus goes to the Temple to cleanse it for a second time. He arugues with the priests, then heals the sick and returns to Bethany

Jesus predicts and announces the date of his execution. He teaches in the Temple for the last time and watches a widow give him her last two "mites" as an offering.

Judas finishes his plot to betray Jesus

Jesus warns against religious leaders and calls them "hypocrites"; later he mourns Jerusalem's rejection and pending destruction.

Jesus has his last supper with his disciples. Later that night/early in the morning he waits in the garden of Gethsamane for his arrest.

*Jesus is confronted and arrested in Gethsemane
*6 different "trials":
-Trial 1 & 2: Jesus physically abused by the former and current Jewish High Priests, then imprisonment in Caiaphas' palace
-Trial 3: The Jewish Elders decide to ask the Roman govt. to kill Jesus -
-Trial 4: Hearing held before Roman governor Pilate who finds Jesus not guilty
-Trial 5: Hearing held before Herod Antipas (son of Herod the Great); Jesus refused to answer any questions and was given back to Pilate
-Trial 6: Pilate tried to release Jesus, but the Jewish leaders wouldn't let him. Pilate gave the order to kill Jesus -
Pilate's soldiers take Jesus to the Praetorium and continue to tortured and beat him until he was beyond recognition. He was forced to carry his own cross to the site of his crucifixtion, and then was crucified. He spent a number of hours on the cross, until he died. He was then buried.

Mary Magdalene, John, and Peter all visit the tomb, but find it empty and don't see Jesus. Mary Magdalene returns later and talks with two angels, and sees Jesus.

Jesus comes to walk with two of his disciples on the road. When they recognize him, they go back to Jerusalem to tell the other disciples that he's alive. Jesus later appears to his disciples in the room where they're hiding from those who had killed him.
