James was the son of Mary Queen of Scots and her second husband Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley. His parent’s marriage was short-lived and Darnley was found murdered 8 months after James was born in June 19, 1566.

At about midnight on November 5, 1605, Fawkes was discovered guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder and is eventually caught and killed.
