Due to cleaning the slaughterhouse without wearing protective gear, Dobbins spends a month in the hospital after suffering from overexposure to chlorine. -
Train Accident
Dobbins was struck by a train after becoming disoriented at work and suffered injuries to his feet and face. -
Hero
Dobbins saves a fellow worker at the slaughterhouse from being killed by a machine that was not yet fully powered off. -
Serious injury
Dobbins breaks his leg stepping in a hole in the floor at the slaughterhouse. -

Heart Attack
Dobbins suffers a severe heart attack at work and is rushed to the hospital. -
Fired from Monfort
Dobbins is fired from his job at the slaughterhouse after almost 16 years of loyalty to a company that repeatedly mistreated him.
