Karl Popper was born on July 28th 1902 in Vienna Austria to an upper middle class family. Mr. Popper's father worked as a well respected attorney and his mother a stay at home caregiver.

At the age of 16 Karl Popper found his love of the sciences leaving school to attend Mathematics and Science lectures at the University of Vienna as a guest.

In 1922, Karl Popper decided to go back to school and was accepted into the "second chance education" program finally completing his degree at the University of Vienna.

In 1928 Mr. Popper earned his doctorate in psychology.

In 1937, Karl Popper emigrated to New Zealand and became a lecturer in philosophy at the Canterbury University College.

In 1949, Karl Popper was appointed professor of logic and scientific method at the University of London.

In 1985, Popper moves home to Austria so that his wife could have her relatives around her during the last months of her life. She passed away i November of that year.

On September 17th, 1994 at the age of 94 years, Karl Popper dies of complications of cancer, pneumonia and kidney failure.
