  • Marx goes to the University of Berlin

    Marx's father sends him to the more serious university of Berlin after he gets arrested for drunkeness at Bonn. During this time Marx becomes politically zealous and falls in love with Jenny Westphalen

  • Marx recieves his doctorate from the University of Jena

    Marx did not settle down. He received his doctorate from the University of Jena in 1841, but his radical politics prevented him from procuring a teaching position.

    The Russian Revolution,lead by Vladimir Lenin and based off of Marx's ideas, begins to overthrow the autocratic empire of the Tsar. This is the most famous case of Max's ideas being implemented. The developement of the USSR was a very important developement for socialists throughout history, but wsa corrupted by the likes of Joseph Stalin who turnied it into State capitalism.
