Kamehameha was born at Kohala , on the northen side of the island of Hawaii. His parent was the cheife Keoua & the cheifes Kekuiapoiwa. Some accounts say that Kahekili King of Maui was the real father of Kamehameha.

When Kamehameha was twelve, he was taking to court of his uncle Kalaniopuu , the ruling chief of Hawaii. There he received training for battle from the famous warrior Kekuaupio.

Encourged by his mother Keopuolani , and regent Ka'ahumanu , two of Kamehamehas windows , Liholiho defied tradition by allowing en to eat with women.

Liholiho was the second king of the Kingdom of Hawaii. His birth name was Liholiho and full name was Kalaninui kua Liholiho i ke kapu ʻIolani. It was lengthened to Kalani Kaleiʻaimoku o Kaiwikapu o Laʻamea i Kauikawekiu Ahilapalapa Kealiʻi Kauinamoku o Kahekili Kalaninui i Mamao ʻIolani i Ka Liholiho when he took the throne.Liholiho travels to Landon , catches the measles , dies and a new king is crowned !
