Juan Peron was born on October 8, 1895 in Lobos, Argentina. He was born into a “modest” family. His parents were not married at the time.

A few years after the birth of Juan Peron his father left the family to look for better economic jobs.

When Juan was a little older his father came back to the family. Since there was a lack in schools in Patagonia at the time in 1904 Perón's parents sent him and his brother to elementary school in Buenos Aires. This elementary school was far away from his family and friends.

When he was around 15 he began doing sports and his academic grades took a turn for the worst. He was barely making it from one year to the next.

After his graduation in 1913, he went on to join the military. He did not stand out to the military officers until 1919. This was were he began to show signs of a leader and a teacher. His reputation soared in the military camp.

Peron served as an attaché to Chile and traveled to Italy to observe the development of the Fascist state in 1938-1940. Juan Peron returned to Argentina in 1941. He joined a group of military soldiers and police officers.

Throughout the years of 1944 and 1945, Juan became a favorite of President Edelmiro J. Farrell,( the president of Argentina) and became the vice president.

Juan Peron met and married Eva Duarte in 1945. She was a political partner. Juan and Eva made live appearances all over the country. She was an actress before marriage so she was a “beautiful woman.”

In 1945 all the effort from the military to quash Juan’s influence became unsuccessful. In 1946, he was elected president of Argentina.

Eva Peron died of cancer in 1952. In 1955 Juan was driven from office.

He fled to Paraguay and then settled in Madrid. In October of 1973 he got a role of president in Argentina.

Juan made his new wife Isabella ,vice president and then settled down in office. He was president again. Isabella was around 40 when she married and Juan was around 80.

Juan Peron died on July 1st 1974, in Buenos Aires. His wife clung onto the government as long as she could. The military had to come and remove her. After her husband's death she vowed to never become part of the government again.

In 2007, Isabella was arrested for allowing officers to commit human rights abuses.

She died in jail in 2008.
