John Dupre was born in Pembury, Kent, England on July 3rd 1952. -
Professional Development
Dupre obtained his bachelor's degree from oxford university along with his Doctor of Philosophy from Cambridge University. He is a philosopher of science and is currently serving as the director of Egenis (the Centre for the Study of life Sciences) and also works as a professor of philosophy at the university of Exeter. -
Major Works
In 1993 Dupre published the book The Disorder of things: Metaphysical Foundations of the Disunity of Science. Recognition
