    - The minesweeper, named, Condor, had spotted something on their radar, and the officer of that main deck asks a sailor nearby what he thinks of it. The sailor replies that it's just a pariscope, but the officer of the deck is puzzled, because they're usually not supposed to be that close. The officer sends a message to the destroyer, Ward, that they have a submerged submarine coming from the west, moving at 9 knots.

    - One of the privates that were on duty of the Opana decided to take a look down at his radar. He was shocked to see that 50 or more aircraft carries were headed their way.

    - Earlier when the private had radioed in that they were sighting something big on their radar system, but the commander on the other side said to just ignore it, because it was "nothing important". Then planes from the first waves take off from the Japanese carriers as soon as their out of the clouds; 49 high-altitude bombers, 51 dive-bombers, 40 torpedo planes, and 43 fighter jets.

    - One bomb, dropped from a hgh-altitude bomber, hits the forward deck of the USS Arizona. That bomb set off more than a million pounds of gunpowder that creates this huge fireball, and then kills 1,177 men.
    A sailor on the torpedoed ship, Nevada, saw the Arizona being hit. The sailor says he saw it jump, 15-20 upward, and then it broke in two. The Arizona sunk in 9 minutes after it got hit.

    - The second wave of bombers hit Pearl Harbor; 35 fighters, 78 dive-bombers, 54 high-altitude bombers. The bombers attack the Navy Yard's dry dock and hit the battleship, Pennysylvania. Another bomber hits oil tanks the destroyers, Cassin and Downs. Onboard all the ammunition explodes; The Cassin rolls off its blocks and into Downs.
    Bombs hit the crusier, Raliegh, again, after being hit with from the first wave.
  • After Effects of Pearl Harbor

    Many people are wounded, killed, severely burned, or on the verge of dying. There are people laying out on lawns, and medics convert schools, barracks, and dining halls into hospitals. For all the pain that these men and women are in, all the nurses can do is continue to give them morphine.

    - When the ship, Ward, tried spotting the unidentified submarine again, it can't find it. The crew on Ward then decide to move in for the kill. The commander of the ship was new and didn't have a lot of previous experience for such a fast acting mission, so he tells his men on board to start firing shots. They fire the first shot and it misses, and the second one hits the submarine, and it sinks slowly.

    - The ship, Helm, sped out to sea after the Arizona sunk, and as it's heading out to see, a Japanese submarine spots it. The Helm shoots at the sub, but it misses. The two person sub breaks free and comes out of the water. Now the Japanese were trying to escape from the American's sight, but it snags on rocks underneathe and on the shoreline. One of the crewman drowns, and the other Japanese crewman is washed onshore, and became the U.S.'s first prisoner of WWII

    - Dive-bombers begin to attack the Army Air Forces', Wheeler Field, which is North of Pearl Harbor. Also they attack Hickam Field, which is near Ford Island's Battleship row. The Japanese wanted to have control of the air, and he wanted to take out the US airplanes on the ground.
  • Nevada

    - A sailor aboard the Nevada sees the American flag and thinks of the star spangled banner as the ship goes forward out to sea. Japanese bombers of the second wave of plane bombs the Nevada. They were hoping to sink her in the shallow end of the sea, so that the other Amercian ships couldn't get past it and be stuck in there and easier for the Japanese to destroy.
