    Copernicus created a model of the solar system. Copernicus believed theat the sun what center of our Universe. He used this to explain that the sun was the center of the Universe and Earth wasn't. If this wan't created, many people would still think Earth was the center of the Universe.

    Galileo Galilei invented the thermometer. The thermometer is now called the Galileo Thermometer. It's important because it tells us what the temperature is. We would never know what the temperature is if we didn't have a thermometer. Thermometers also help meteorologists predict he weather. Different scientists can also use thermometers to study.
