The Treaty of Versailles joined on June the 28th in 1919 at the palace of Versailles in Paris, at the end of WWI. The Treaty of Versailles held Germany responsible for starting the war and enforced harsh penalties.

Benito Mussolini Takes Power in Italy
Benito Mussolini was a passionate socialist who was involved in politics. He fought in WWI for Italy, but he was wounded and was discharged from the military service. It was March 24th 1919, he organised several right-wing groups to create the Fascit party. In 1922, Italy slipped into political Chaos and Mussolini became the Prime Minister of Italy. -
The Great Depression
The Great Depression began in 1929 and ended in about 1939. It was the most server depression ever experienced in whole wide world. It began after the stock market crashed in October 1929, it wiped out millions of investors. Over the next several years the investment dropped quite a bit. By 1933 The Great Depression reached it's lowest point, around 15 million Americans were unemployed and banks were failing. -
