Jackman starred in one of my favourite performances. The film is gritty, brutal, intense and Jackman gives an intense performance as a parent who is pushed to the edge of his sanity when his child is abducted and he takes the investigation into his own hands.
-
Jackman gives a charming performance as Eddie The Eagle's tough as nails, charismatic and tough-love coach Bronson Peary who forms an unlikely friendship with Eddie. Whilst not one of Jackman's most popular, it still remains one of his funniest, heartwarming and oddly loveable films to date.

Hugh Jackman returned to the stage for The Music Man. In a time where nothing good was guaranteed, Jackman took a minute at the end of the bows to invite the swings on stage and thank them for their hard work. Hugh recognised that the swings are often the unsung heroes of shows and he didn't want their hard work to go on notice. As someone who's worked in theatre I can say, whilst the actors deserve the applause, those who don't appear on stage deserve it just as much!
