    Democratius

    Democratius
Demcritus found that different kinds of atoms have different shapes and sizes; they're physically, but not geomterically, indivisible. He found it by claiming it since, technology was no present for the claim. So his model was just a particle was just a sphere with different color, size, and shape Coffey, Jerry. "Democritus Atom." • Dalton

    Dalton
Dalton was one scientist that proceeded after Democritus on the atom. He dicovered that different atoms of different substances have their own mass, also known as the atomic weight. He had this discovery when researching gases. He too believed atoms were also made up of tiny indivisible particles as Democritus. Williams, Matt. "John Dalton's Atomic Model." Universe Today. N.p., 01 Dec. 2014. Web. 20 Feb. 2015 proclaimed on the atom.
  • Thomson

    Thomson
This scientist was one who changed the the view of the atom. He did so by discovering the electron. He dicovered it by the Cathrode Raytube Experiment. When the rays went through the tube with one metal plate positively charged and one negatively charged on the end of the tube, the ray went to the positive showing the ray was negative. His model, had no charge since he believed the atom was positive but had electrons to balance it out, thus thought it was neutral.DeWitt, Tylor. "GaggleTube Video
  • Rutherford

    Rutherford
Rutherford dicovered that most of the atom is empty space. He explained this by the Gold Foil Experiment. The experiment had aa ray go through a flattened foil of gold and the ray was split into many rays frm the point of origin, indicating the atom has space. • Bohr

    Bohr
He discovered that energy levels of electrons are discrete and that the electrons revolve in stable orbits around the atomic nucleus but can jump from one energy level (or orbit) to another. He discovered it based on his observations of the atomic emissions spectrum of the hydrogen atom. Palermo, By Elizabeth. "Niels Bohr: Biography & Atomic Theory." LiveScience. • Heisenberg and Schrodinger

    Heisenberg and Schrodinger
They said electrons don't travel in neat orbit. Also, all electrons that protons will then change momentum and physics. he discovered it by looking at the electrons postiton and found it in a different place, but didn't mean it was moving in between the spaces. They claim the atom looked like a wave. "Schrödinger's Atom." Schrödinger's Atom. Colorado.edu.com, n.d. Web. 25 Feb. 2015.
